Envision Series - Work & Project Management
The Work & Project Management system provides users and managers with
complete work management and project cost reporting. Work Management assigns
and tracks work on projects, locations, buildings or assets. General skills
and crafts are tracked by employee and crews and are used to match available
work to available personnel. Work orders are generated and tracked on
all work activities. Both scheduled work (such as preventive maintenance)
and unscheduled work may be managed on a system wide basis, and can be
tracked by work area, department, type of work, reason for work, or any
of several other work related elements. Cost is defined for labor, materials,
equipment use, outside contractor, miscellaneous and overhead areas. These
costs are tracked for each work activity, and can be reported on by standard
and actual costs. Overall reporting and management may be applied at the
work order, task, and project level, and can be reported by employee,
asset, work order, or any of several other levels. The Work & Project
Management application follows on a table managed concept to allow users
to fully define all codes, work levels and systems standards. In short,
the system is designed to manage all work and cost reporting functions
within any broadly-based organization.
