Envision Series - Payroll Management

The Payroll system is a fully featured application specifically designed for payroll processing. The overall system design supports a position-based, exception entry environment that allows time to be entered at either a centralized or a decentralized location. Flexible tables allow the definition of sick and vacation accruals, longevity earnings, and pension and insurance plans, as well as numerous other benefit types. User-managed tables also define pay, deductions, and benefits so that on-site personnel can easily control ongoing changes in pay policies. The system lets each organization define multiple payrolls and payroll frequencies. The full and automatic interfaces between Payroll and the Budgetary Accounting system generate Accounts Payable obligations for collected funds, distribute labor costs to jobs and projects, and automatically keep the General Ledger in balance with payroll activity. The Payroll system can also project position-based pay and benefit costs that can be integrated with the Budget Preparation system as part of the budget planning procedure.
