Envision Series - Inventory Management

The Inventory Management system provides either centralized or decentralized control over inventory and warehouses. Multiple warehouses--with automatic matching of users to warehouses--is an integral feature of the system. Standard NIGP commodity codes are fully supported, and the system also includes options for users to develop site-specific codes. Inventory use can tracked by commodity code, area, and detailed usage, with unlimited history maintained on each item. The system also automatically maintains and charges average costs to user cost centers or departments. An on-line/real time interface is provided to the Purchasing system to support stock reserves for requisitions, picking ticket generation, and overall stock management. For any item, the inventory system tracks safety and reorder levels while maintaining detailed storage information and requirements.
