The Budgetary Accounting system is a fully integrated on-line fund-based application. It includes the general ledger, accounts payable, budget management, and budget appropriations application functions, and it meets all the generally accepted accounting requirements, including (GAAFR and GAAP specific for Government). The Budgetary system provides users with a real time interface to all other applications to confirm account accuracy and provide real time budget control through automatic encumbrance management. The account number structure is designed to be flexible, allowing customer-defined codes to be used while minimizing organization change, and a unique system design provides date sensitivity on transactions, establishing significant flexibility in management reporting, account research, and online inquiry. All financial transactions from all applications interface automatically to the Budgetary system.
