| J2EE eBusiness reengineering using eBusiness Workbench |
 |
How
would you like to transform your existing character-based Pacbase applications
into state-of-the-art Web applications ?
Can
you imagine your users discovering they can keep all the specificities
and business rules they asked for, and at the same time benefit from
time saving features such as :
-
viewing
the reports on-line, automatically opened in a word editor windows
-
printing the reports to any network printer they
wish
-
e-mailing
the reports to their peers and managers with a click of a mouse
-
GUI
entry and navigation : hyperlinks, drop down boxes, tool bar, attached
documents, calendar, calculator features, etc.
-
Integration
to the organization portal or intranet
Can
you imagine having web-based applications with
-
no deployment / update on the client’s PC
-
the same Database and processing power as you used
to have
-
no additional maintenance costs
And
how would you like to do so for less than 10% of the cost of re-writing
your application ?
How
does it work, and what do you need?
- Pacbase
Web Connection automatically generates the HTML pages from the Pacbase
repository
-
Pacbase
Web Connection middleware takes care of building and passing the message
including the user’s data between the Web Server and the Back-end
application.
-
You don’t have to change your existing programs.
You can access the existing application from a terminal or from a web browser, without changing the programs
-
The
Web server can be any standard / existing web server, such as IIS,
Apache or Websphere web server, and be installed on either an AIX or an NT/Windows2000 platform
-
The users only need standard web browsers (IE or
Netscape) to access the application
How
do I get started ?
Call e-ASG at 877
864 9100, or e-mail MktSup@e-ASG.com, and we can either build
a re-usable prototype together in a few weeks, or start immediately on
a whole application.
