• You don’t have to change your existing programs. You can access the existing application from a terminal or from a web browser, without changing the programs
• The Web server can be any standard / existing web server, such as IIS, Apache or Websphere web server, and be installed on either an AIX or an NT/Windows2000 platform
• The users only need standard web browsers (IE or Netscape) to access the application
